Development of a Convergent Design tool to improve simultaneously hydrothermal and aero-thermal simulation of building (DECODE)
Summary: The mains objectives of DECODE where, to improve the modelling capabilities of complex wall based on multi material and material with changing properties (function of radiation, or temperature), etc. To test and compare material facade for refurbishment of any kind of building either previously made of wood, bricks or concrete. And finally, define a design methodology applied to multi material building (new or retrofit) and prepare potential standard.
